SpeakerHi! I’m Bo Hatton, Jackie’s Transaction Coordinator making sure each and every deal gets done right! I have been in the real estate business for 20 years. Licensed in 1993, I sold real estate for nine years. In 2000 I made the decisions to leave the sales end of real estate and started working for Colorado Homefront as their Transaction Coordinator. After 9/11, the company was struggling and, rather than waiting for my pink slip, I decided to give my notice and took a huge risk and start my own company as an Independent Transaction Coordinator. Now, a single mother of a 24-year- old daughter, who now lives on her own, and a 17-year- old son, who lives with me full time, I work from my home and serve 11 real estate agents around Denver. I become involved in your transaction when the property goes under contract. I assist the seller and buyer through every step of the process. My job is to make sure that the title company, lender, agent, buyer and seller are doing everything that they are required to do to insure a smooth closing. I like to refer to myself as “Your New Best Friend”. I’m very detail-oriented and organized. Jackie will, of course, handle all negotiations and is very involved with every transaction. I am here to remind you, Jackie and everyone else of the upcoming deadlines and to make sure every detail of your transaction is properly executed. My job is one of great importance because I help people transition through one point in their life to the next. I have worked with families buying their first home, then watch them and their growing families transition into their next home. I have assisted families sell the home of a loved-one that has passed or perhaps another family that is moving out of state. My job is one that I take very seriously as I realize that buying and selling real estate is the biggest transaction of most people’s lives and it is my responsibility as a human being to do the best job possible for them. This is not simply a “job”. It is my calling and I embrace that responsibility. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my kids, walking my Irish Setter, Jade, reading, going to the movies, traveling and doing Turbo Jam! I have also written a book entitled “Becoming the Epic Real Estate Personal Assistant” and am currently in the process of retaining a Literary Agent and ultimately having my book published.
